Ontario Court of Justice: A History is an e-history, freely available to all readers. We begin in 1867 and move through four distinct time periods. We describe legal changes and challenges the Court has faced over time, some notable cases heard in it, and interesting stories of people who shaped it. Six essays review issues in depth that continue to define the Court. The history of the Ontario Court of Justice has been long, rich and varied. There will always be much more to tell. We hope that our history will stimulate others to tell their stories.
