Revised Serving and Filing Criminal Court Documents Practice Direction, effective June 2, 2025
The Court is revising its Serving and Filing Criminal Court Documents Practice Direction effective June 2, 2025. The revised Practice Direction establishes electronic filing (email) as the required method of filing documents, subject to certain exceptions in which paper filings will be accepted, e.g., where an unrepresented litigant is not able to file materials electronically or where documents contain sensitive materials. The Practice Direction also introduces standards for electronic documents, to standardize and improve the quality of electronic materials.
