Made first returnable on a Friday Motions Court, at which point long motion date scheduled by the Registrar in conjunction with presiding Motions Court Justice.	Under 1 hour	Two adjournments on consent are permitted. Any further adjournments will be adjourned sine die returnable on 4 days’ notice unless otherwise ordered by the presiding Motions Court Justice. Any motion or application that requires more than 1 hour shall be scheduled for a Special Appointment. Special Appointment dates will be obtained from and scheduled by the Registrar in conjunction with the presiding Motions Court Justice, on a Friday Motions Court. At the time of scheduling Special Appointments (long motions), counsel must complete a Certificate of Readiness confirming they are ready to proceed, the time required for the motion and whether a court reporter is required. Once the date has been assigned by the Justice for a Special Appointment, any adjournment requests must be spoken to before a judge. The Trial Coordinator must be advised of any adjournment requests and any settlements prior to the hearing date, by counsel submitting this information to the court via a Confirmation of Motion form.
