Family
Family proceedings in the Superior Court are governed by the Family Law Rules unless otherwise stated.
The Family Law Rules require the use of a set of prescribed forms for family proceedings.
The new trial scheduling endorsement form will be required before a trial date is provided in a family case. Litigants will be asked to complete Parts 1 and 2 of the form for or immediately after the settlement conference. Part 3 of the form will be completed by the judge after the issues have been reviewed with the parties.
The new child protection scheduling endorsement form is available for a child protection case.
This form can be used as a draft endorsement to obtain direction regarding the process for these cases.
