Binding JDR – Notice to the Family Law Bar and Family Litigants – L’Orignal

Effective August 1, 2023

The Binding Judicial Dispute Resolution (Binding JDR) pilot project was introduced in the L’Orignal, Family Court Branch on November 8, 2022 . This pilot allows parties in a family law case, on consent, to choose to participate in Binding JDR to arrive at a final resolution of their case without the need for a trial.
