Long motions: Counsel and litigants are advised that in order to schedule and secure a long motion date with the Superior Court at Brampton, upon being provided with such a motion date by the court, counsel and litigants shall secure the motion date given to them by first booking with the trial office verbally then by serving and filing the notice of motion within 10 calendar days following the scheduling of the date.
In the event no such notice of motion is filed as required, the motion date will be vacated and the proposed motion will be removed from the court schedule.
 
  Facta, not exceeding 20 pages, are required for all long civil motions, unless otherwise directed by a judge, to be filed 7 days prior. Counsel and litigants are strongly encouraged to fax/email Central West Region confirmation forms to the court office by 2 pm, 5 days before a long motion, to facilitate scheduling and preparation time.
