Toronto Small Claims Court Cases
Effective October 3, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., the Small Claims Court Submissions Online portal will be discontinued for filing court documents in Toronto. The new Ontario Courts Public Portal will be launched for all Toronto cases on October 14, 2025.
Effective October 14, 2025 in Toronto, after your documents are accepted for filing with the Court through Ontario Courts Public Portal, they will be uploaded by court staff into Case Center, an electronic document sharing and hearing platform that allows participants to view court documents during court hearings. Case Center is used for all hearings before the Court, whether they are conducted in person or through Zoom.
For parties and their representatives, a new account will be required the first time OCPP is used. Please refer to section 1.2 of the OCPP User Guide for guidance on how to create an account and other guidance for using the OCPP. Counsel and litigants can access those guides, the Quick Reference Guide and other resources including instructional videos to support use of the new portal here.
To access Case Center, you will register for an account at https://ontariocourts.casecenter.thomsonreuters.com/ using the email address you provided on your court documents. Once your documents have been filed, you will receive a link to your case in Case Center to this email address.
