1.\u00a0<\/strong>All court forms must be typed, handwritten or printed legibly. It may cause delays if your forms cannot be read.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0<\/strong>Content of forms under the\u00a0Rules of Civil Procedure<\/em>\u00a0is available at the following website:\u00a0www.ontariocourtforms.on.ca.<\/a>\u00a0This content is not formatted. It is your responsibility to ensure that the form complies with the\u00a0Rules of Civil Procedure\u00a0<\/em>(see for example Rule 4.01 with respect to formatting). Many of the\u00a0Rules of Civil Procedure<\/em>\u00a0forms contain the phrase “General heading. ” General headings are separate forms under the\u00a0Rules of Civil Procedure<\/em>\u00a0and must be inserted where this phrase appears, with the proper content.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0<\/strong>How to\u00a0COUNT DAYS FOR TIMELINES<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0Rules of Civil Procedure<\/em>:<\/p>\n

When calculating timelines in the\u00a0Rules of Civil Procedure<\/em>, count the days by excluding the first day and including the last day of the period. Where a period of less than seven days is mentioned in the rules, holidays (including Saturdays and Sundays) must not be counted. If the last day of the period of time falls on a holiday, the period ends on the next day that is not a holiday.<\/p>\n
