Justice on Target

print friendly

Everyone involved in the criminal justice system, including victims, witnesses and the public, benefits from more effective practices in our criminal courts.
Through the province’s Justice on Target (JOT) strategy, the people who work in our courts are addressing criminal court delay, while respecting the integrity of the system and the independent roles of its participants. For example, courts now give people charged with a criminal offence more information earlier in the process so that they are able to make decisions sooner. Criminal court statistics and information about Justice on Target (JOT)  initiatives are available to the public on the Ministry of the Attorney General’s website.
